Google Apps is a very power suite of tools that can transform how you work in your school. You can take advangate of a lot of the services with just a personal account, but to really get the power out of Google Apps it is best when your whole district. Below headings of the Main services along with resources a plenty.
Gmail is the foundation of all of the tools within Google Apps. By using the power of Groups. you can share information and collaborate with large groups of people in you district (Principal-All teachers, Teachers-all students or students of a particular class).
Google for Education has just recently revamped its training portal. Here you will find lessons, videos that use teachers and students and the classroom and even quizzes to test your knowledge. By going through these lessons, you will have a firm foundation of how to use Google Apps in the classroom and through out the whole school.
