Create Instructional Videos for your Students
Below you will find the resources needed and some tips to create videos that you can use for flipping your classroom and other instructional purposes.

Know you audience (private, public, shared at a sight like Teacher Tube)
What type of Video - Screencast, regular video,
How it is to be shared and stored
Screen Capture
Mac - For basic recording use the built in Quicktime recorder (instructions here)
Screencast-O-Matic - Website that records your screen and video for free up to 15 minutes a video Pro only $15 a year
Camstudio - Software that you download to record and make video files
CaptureFox - a plugin to use with Firefox browser that allows screencapture
Jing - Download for both PC and Mac to do screen recordings - Has 5 minute limitation no editing ability
ScreenCastle - Create screencasts from your browser
Camtasia Very good screen recording software but very expensive
BB Flashback - Very good and professional (express version is free)
Video Recording With your Webcam
Google+ Hangouts
Youtube video Manager (can upload,download your videos, share, edit, manage)
To record from you webcam to Youtube https://www.youtube.com/my_webcamWebcam Software that came with you Webcam
May be able to use you document camera -
Example of using an Elmo to do a live recording (youtube video) - use the Image mate software along with Camstudio, Screencast-O-Matic or other screen capture program
iPad (or other tablets)
Camera App - then upload video to dropbox the use video editing software to put it together
Showme - Creates create whiteboard instructional videos - is Free
