Evernote is a great tool for keeping up with everything in your life. For me, it does not replace Dropbox. I use Dropbox for actual files, but I use Evernote for organizing information.

Capture anything - Text, images, voice and works on all devices (PC/Mac/iOs/Andriod/Web)

Evernote has a great search tool - Use tags to help organize your notes, you can highlight notes (great for sharing)

Example of types of notes that can be made in Evernote (a shared Evernote notebook)
